Our industry changing Alpha Smoke technology offers you the option to cook in Grilla’s traditional Pro mode to maximize the smoke, or using the PID mode which will allow you to maintain an incredibly steady temperature throughout your cook. With the Silverbac All-Terrain, the choice is yours!
The AT can cook at temperatures between 180 and 500 degrees in 5-degree increments. The included meat probe and digital control system let you keep close tabs on the grill temperature as well as the temperature of your meat. The blower fan not only enables even, convection cooking, it also helps you avoid any flare-ups that can ruin your cook. All of the Silverbac AT’s components are made of high-quality materials, including the burn grate and firepot which are both made of stainless steel.
The Silverbac Alpha is built for performance and safety, with shutdown settings that turn the grill off if the temperature exceeds 615°F. When this temperature is reached, shutdown is initiated, and an error message will be displayed. Have had the grill for three weeks and have cooked chicken, ribs, and Boston butt. All have come out excellent. Flavor taste completely different than gas grill.
That food looks awesome Bryan, thanks for sharing. Glad you're enjoying it so far!
I purchased my Silverback AT two weeks ago and absolutely love this grill. I have made kielbasa and sour krout, grilled salmon, smoked salmon, Prime Rib with roasted potatoes and carrots for Christmas, Teriyaki Chicken and pizza. Looking forward to making baby back ribs for New Year's. Love the versatility and how well it well it is constructed.
Wow, you have cooked ALOT of things in those two weeks. Thanks for the feedback Jim, sounds like you are digging the grill so far!
Grill seems top notch and customer support has been a fantastically positive experience.
Love to hear that Richard, thanks!
I love to grill. We cook almost all of our dinners on the grill. I wanted to get into smoking, but wasn't sure what to get. A friend recommended Grilla Grills and after getting the Silverbac AT, I'm not sure I will ever use my propane grill again. The all-terrain base makes moving the grill a breeze. Not to mention the rims and tires make the grill look great. I've only had it for about a week and I've smoked several things already and they turned out great. Tenderloin tip, chicken *******, thighs, etc., standing rib roast and even buffalo wings, breakfast bacon and sausage! They have all turned out great! Very easy to use. Best of all, using the grill grates you get great grill flavor, the fancy grill lines and no flair ups! Only have a few suggestions: 1. Would be nice to have a paper towel holder mounted somewhere on the grill. Maybe one that hooks on to the side of the hopper like the caddy does. 2. Maybe sell extra magnetic utensil holders for the side of the hopper. 3. And (maybe the most important thing) need a cup holder for my beer. Otherwise, this is a great product and I would definitely recommend! Customer service is outstanding as well! Thanks!
Thanks for the review and the feedback Christian! Really appreciate it.
After doing Alot of research, I decided on Grilla. This is my first experience with a pellet grill. Received and assembled the day before Thanksgiving. I seasoned it . Then grilled some Hamburgers that night. On Thanksgiving had already prepared a turkey in Brine, rubbed the Turkey. Fired up the Grilla and cooked the turkey at 325 for about 4 hours. Turned out Awesome best turkey I ever cooked.... I've deep-fried turkeys numerous times, this was better. Thanks for a great cook!
That is a high-pressure start, but glad it worked out for you Delbert! Looks like you've found a new favorite cooker!
