*Alpha Silverbac is equipped with Alpha Smoke Dual Controller*

Grilla Grills' Alpha Silverbac has dual controller technology that brings the smoke whether you’re doing a twelve-hour smoke or quickly grilling up a couple of burgers. With a surface area large enough to grill eight whole chickens, you have enough space to feed a small army. The Alpha is durable enough to cook for an army, too, with a heavy-duty hinged stainless-steel lid, ample work surfaces, convenient storage, automatic wood pellet feed and Set ‘n Forget digital controls. The Alpha differs from our other Silverbac models due to its one-of-a-kind dual “Alpha Smoke” controller technology that lets you select PID mode or Grilla’s traditional-style mode. Even with this amazing new feature, the Silverbac Alpha pellet grill comes with all of the features you’ve come to love with the Silverbac like the thermal metal jacket, autostart feature, EZ glide wheels, and rugged powder-coat finish.

Alpha Silverbac Pellet Grill Features

Heating Technology

The Silverbac has all the technology you need to make grilling a breeze. From the auto ignition to the Set ‘n Forget Digital Control System, the Silverbac is designed to make you cook like a pro with no hassles. The Alpha Smoke technology offers you the option to cook in Grilla’s traditional mode to maximize the smoke, or using the PID mode which will allow you to maintain an incredibly steady temperature throughout your cook. With the Silverbac Alpha, the choice is yours!

The Alpha can cook at temperatures between 180 and 500 degrees in 5-degree increments. The included meat probe and digital control system let you keep close tabs on the grill temperature as well as the temperature of your meat. The blower fan not only enables even, convection cooking, it also helps you avoid any flare-ups that can ruin your cook. All of the Alpha’s components are made of high-quality materials, including the burn grate and firepot which are both made of stainless steel.

Safety Features

The Silverbac Alpha is built for performance and safety, with shutdown settings that turn the grill off if the temperature exceeds 615°F. When this temperature is reached, shutdown is initiated, and an error message will be displayed. On the other end of the spectrum, if the Alpha drops below 110°F, shutdown is initiated, and an error message will be displayed.

A Rugged Exterior Built for the Elements

The Silverbac Alpha is every bit as rugged as our other Silverbac models with stainless steel construction and a powder coat finish that’s designed to last you through season after season. The Silverbac Alpha’s seams are welded, powder coated and caulked for triple redundant weather protection. A thermal metal jacket helps the grill maintain temperature, along with the sturdy stainless-steel lid. While the Alpha is rugged, it’s also highly functional, as it includes a well-constructed storage space that helps keep your accessories protected from the elements. We also made sure the pivot casters were built to allow you to move your Alpha easily. The Silverbac Alpha is built so well you can grill year round no matter how cold it gets outside!

Great customer service and an awesome grill!

I'm very happy with my Silverbac! I received it July 1, got the grill set up and used it several times over the July 4th weekend, with rave reviews from our extended family! In addition, the Grilla Grills customer service team helped quickly resolve an issue when my grill arrived. During shipping the container had been damaged, resulting in a significant scratch on the hood of the grill. Everything else was in good shape, but I reached out to see what options were available to fix the scratch. Instead they got back to me and said not to worry about it, and they sent me a brand new hood. Their response and attitude towards my issue were top notch. I couldn't be happier with my experience with Grilla grills!

My first smoker and I absolutely love it

I've done 3 cooks on the Silverbac so far. One just a chicken trial run, next 3 racks of ribs and a chicken, and then the big one a 10 hour brisket, chicken, and a pork shoulder and everything has been wonderful. Great smoke flavor the Alpha smoke was good for holding temperature for long period of times on the brisket, and normal mode has been great for chicken getting lots of smoke. The grill is super easy to assemble and get started to use. Everything was perfect right out of the box. The build quality over the big box store smokers is obvious as you're assembling, nice thick metal all over nothing feels like some of the cheap thin sheet metal some of the other ones have in random places. My only issue was having the lid warp slightly after the burn in which made it so the lid wouldn't close completely, apparently is extremely common, I did a quick fix to bend the hinges back in to place and everything's fine now.

    Love it!

I thought long and hard about the pellet grill I wanted to purchase. The grill needed to replace both my gas grill and my electric smoker. The Silverbac has fit that need and more! I was impressed as to how heavy and sturdy the grill is. The hood, the deflector, and the drip pan have serious weight to them. I have had the Silberbac for a week now. I have made two batches of jerky (my first attempt), bratwursts, baby backs, my first brisket, and smoked salmon. All have turned out great. I never would have tried a brisket without a pellet grill and the SB handled the job with ease! Looking forward to doing more as well as pork butt. The unit is stylish and people I had over for the 4th commented on how great it looked. I am very happy with the purchase and look forward to cooking on it often.

    Awesome Pellet Smoker/Grill

I'm coming from a charcoal grill and smoker, and the Silverbac is my first experience with a pellet. It all comes down to quality of the food vs effort to make it for me, and I can say that everything I have cooked on this smoker has been super tasty. Chicken-Bacon Skewers recipe from Grilla Grills was a massive hit at work (and chicken breast has always been difficult for me) and the best I have done yet. I have also done the most juicy brisket that I have yet to make on this smoker, and I found it very convenient that I don't have to tend to a fire all day. What I love: Ease of use and the thick steel make a difference in the food quality. Everything that I have cooked in this so far has been excellent and major hits for the people I have cooked for. Clean up is super simple with the stainless steel. Just shop vac it out and throw away the foil on the drip pan. The pellet hopper is big enough for an all day smoke, and the Pro Controller puts out plenty of smoke to remove the need to add a smoke tube during the cook. Having a PID controller allows me to switch to a more stable temperature after the meat has been smoked, which is as simple as pressing the mode button. The controller does a good job of hold temps while your food finishes cooking. Overall I am glad I purchased this over a Tec Rec. What I'm neutral about: The upper rack is pointless as it is too close to the top of the smoker to be useful for anything substantial. Sure you can get ribs up there or chicken wings, but for larger cuts like whole chickens or brisket, it gets in the way and it makes getting to items in the back of the smoker difficult as well. I have removed the grate and found that I prefer the smoker with out it. Yes I lose cooking space, but I feel like I have more room in the cooker for larger items that I am smoking. It is nice that it is there, but it isn't a selling point in my opinion. The Bad: Since this is a review of my overall experience I am going to mention that the shipping company is a disappointment. My smoker arrived with a huge chuck taken out of the box, luckily for me the only damage was to the bottom shelf of the stand which I can live with, but the box with the pellets was opened wide and damaged the pellet bag with the pellets in the bottom of the box. Again I got lucky in that the pellets were dry in the box so I was able to use most of them, but the experience was disappointing. I do want to mention that I am super happy with the Silverbac. I realized early that I will require the front shelf and the mobile cart which I'll be ordering soon, and the Grill looks awesome in my backyard. Good job to Grilla Grills!
