Good quality, price is acceptable
I love that Grilla Grills offered this extra to add more grilling/ smoking square footage. It would have gotten a 5* rating but I dont really care for the one end being extended downward, it interferes with the meat that rests under the grill. I would prefer the grill extension just be straight across/ Other than than little design concern, I love the extension Cheers, Christopher Rovert from Canada
I haven't used this yet but the quality is great! It is definitely worth getting to increase the usable area.
The rack is good quality. But I find its usefulness to be somewhat limited. It inhibits access to the lower rack enough to make it something I do not use frequently. The only time I use it is when I want to set a half baking sheet on it. And, only because it balances slightly better. If you are cooking something like that you will want to flip, I don't like to use the extended top rack. If I have a full bottom grate that I want to flip, I don't like to use any top racks, as I find it cumbersome to try and flip food near the rear of the bottom grate. Design improvement: The top rack brackets inside the grill should not be limited to 2 positions. There should be some other tabs on the brackets that allow you to take the single top rack that comes with the grill and move it toward the front in 1-inch increments. This would allow me to move the top rack slightly forward so that I could balance half sheets better on it and still be in a position that allows better access to the bottom rack. I can currently balance a half sheet, but it is just a bit tipsy. Being able to move the rack forward 1" would help. Do I recommend it. Sure. If you use hotel pans and are sliding them in between racks or cooking in a way that space to access between racks is not needed.
Good thing I upgraded Room Can never be lost
